The Veja.Como Project, an innovative initiative in the social media landscape, challenged itself to explore the dynamics of rapid growth on Instagram, focusing on the Brazilian market. The main goal was to create a brand on a Social Media account and achieve a minimum of 50,000 followers within a month, an ambitious target aimed not only at expanding the digital presence of a startup brand but also at understanding the trends in engagement and growth on the platform to create a solid, highly effective profile.

The Challenge

One of the main challenges faced by the Veja.Como Project was the need to generate highly engaging and relevant content that resonated with the target Brazilian audience. Additionally, the team had to implement effective digital marketing strategies that aligned with the ever-changing algorithms of Instagram.
This included optimizing hashtags, choosing strategic posting times, and actively engaging with the community to encourage interaction and sharing.

The Research

To underpin the Veja.Como Project, extensive research was conducted on user behavior on Instagram, particularly in the Brazilian context.

The team analyzed patterns of engagement, content preferences, and activity peaks, using this information to shape their marketing and content approach. The research also involved studying similar success stories and adapting their best practices to the specific context of the project.

The Solution

The outcome of the Project Veja.Como was remarkably positive, exceeding all expectations. The account reached 100,000 followers in just 4 days and continued to grow, hitting 175,000 in a month. This rapid expansion was the result of an effective combination of viral content, strategic collaborations, and a deep understanding of Instagram’s dynamics.

In addition to this satisfactory result, we also reached relevant accounts on the platform. This demonstrates that besides good expansion, our brand, being less than a month old, was able to connect with key people in the industry. This fact is crucial, as for startups and small companies, this could be a chance to gain visibility with niche authorities, and possibly, receive some financial backing for further growth. With these results, any brand could easily increase its revenue, boosting ROI and reducing CAC.

After reaching the peak, the team decided to pause posting to analyze the decline, allowing for a detailed evaluation of the strategies used and the fluctuations in engagement and followers.
